Glenys has been painting the buildings, lanes and homes of local Sussex villages since retiring and moving to Sussex from South London in 1994. Pencil sketches, charcoals, watercolors and oils.  Farmyards, farming artifacts, farm animals, small river boats and country steam trains.  All the things she sees on her country walks in Sussex and on her travels.

Glenys has also been commissioned to paint the signs for three local villages, including her own village of Ewhurst Green.

Private Commissions

Commissioned paintings of your own home or village are welcome, ranging from £100-400 plus framing depending on the particulars of the commission. Travel expenses may need to be added depending on the location.  A site visit by the artist is preferred, taking detailed photographs to continue the painting at her studio.
